Plagiocephaly is a deformation of the skull of the infant who is lying on his back most of the time. That's why Candide expert has developed this P'tit panda Air+ which allows to slightly incline and to follow the shape of the infant's skull. Baby remains totally free to move and keeps a well rounded head
The P'tit panda Air+ of Candide, a memory foam cushion
The memory foam brings an additional comfort to baby. The cushion is covered with a micro-perforated mesh that is breathable and allows air to circulate well while letting natural perspiration evacuate. Babies sweat a lot during their sleep, that's why it's more pleasant for them to choose sleeping accessories with a good ventilation of the fabric, when possible. The middle of the P'tit panda Air+ where the center of baby's head rests is made of mesh for even more breathability. This mesh, also called 3D mesh, is one of the most breathable fabrics.
Baby can use his P'tit panda Air+ from birth to 6 months.
How to use a breathable cushion P'tit Panda for baby?
It is very simple to use the Air+ headrest cushion by Candide:
- Place the P'tit panda Air+ flat on baby's mattress or on his sleeping support, play mat, playpen.
- Lay baby on his back, flat on his head on the anti flat head cushion.
- Check that baby's skull is in the center of the P'tit panda Air+, at the level of the mesh or 3D mesh.
For the maintenance of your P'tit Panda Air+ Candide, it is enough to pass it in machine at a temperature of 30 degrees to preserve its intact fabric. Air drying is recommended to keep a healthy product.

Nos produits développées pour lutter contre la plagiocéphalie n’évitent pas le phénomène de tête plate mais en limitent les risques. Quelques fois ce phénomène peut être la conséquence d’une subluxation des cervicales qui n’est pas toujours détectée et qui empêche une mobilité normale de la tête. Les déformations sont fortement diminuées si l'enfant est installé dans l’un de nos produits spécialement dédiés.
Pour les périodes d’éveil, n’hésitez pas à laisser votre bébé bien à plat sur un tapis d’éveil par exemple ce qui permettra de varier ses appuis et l’aidera dans sa motricité.
Si vous avez observé que votre bébé positionne sa tête plus d’un côté que de l’autre, parlez-lui, stimulez-le et faites-lui découvrir son environnement du côté opposé à son côté préférentiel.
